For the third movement, my partner Kayla and me are working on dreams and on the idea of time-traveling in dreams and fading memories. Many of our dreams are a distorted and manipulated result of flashes of memories. So I decided to build up a story of a girl trapped inside her dreams and memories. For this, I’m working on a maze, made up of lego, where the person is in the middle, her memories are the objects surrounding her and to show that she is trying to unravel her identity, the maze has four different outlets leading her to four different situations. This is an abstraction of choices one makes and a random idea of which way we choose to get away.
This is sort of a prototype of what the maze would look like!
I like the idea of using a prototype, it helps to get the sense of what your trying to do. I really like the idea of a maze I think that will work well in creating a film about being stuck in dreams
